Inspiring connection, confidence, and calm through nature
Wilderness Wisdom is a once-a-month outdoor program designed to help children build a love for nature while developing key social-emotional skills like teamwork, empathy, and self-awareness.
Each two-hour session takes place in a local natural setting — a forested park, riverside trail, or community green space — where children explore, play, and learn through guided adventure, creativity, and mindfulness.
Nature Exploration & Play: Cooperative games and creative challenges that inspire curiosity and teamwork.
Mindfulness Moments: Gentle breathing, grounding, or sensory awareness activities that help kids feel calm and centered.
Creative Expression: Nature art, storytelling, and reflection activities that build emotional awareness and confidence.
Group Connection: Each session ends with a gratitude circle, encouraging children to reflect on what they learned and how they felt outdoors.
Every gathering follows a unique theme connecting nature to personal growth, such as:
Courage, Gratitude, Friendship, Calm, Resilience, and Belonging.
Children ages 6–11 who love to move, explore, and connect with others in a supportive outdoor environment.
Runs once per month — 2-hour sessions in all seasons.
Each gathering is led by trained facilitators specializing in child development and emotional wellness.
At Wilderness Wisdom, kids learn that nature is not just a place to play — it’s a place to grow.
